Commissioned Researchers

System
This is a system to accept engineers and researchers working in private companies to NINS as commissioned researchers to give instructions on researches at a postgraduate level, and aim for further improvements of their abilities.

Flow of procedure
The consigner should apply for commissioned researchers by submitting the given Commissioned Researcher Application Form, a letter of recommendation and resume to the head of Institutions, up to one month before the start of research. After the application, a notification for permission to accept the commissioned researcher is delivered to the consigner.
Commissioned researchers are requested to pay research fees according to invoice documents issued by NINS.

Handling of research results
Any inventions derived shall be either jointly owned by NINS or staff who gave guidance and the commissioned researcher, or accredited to the commissioned researcher, depending on the level of contribution to that invention.
