Two postdoctoral research fellows join IRCC-QIB (January 24, 2020 and July 16, 2020)

Dr. Ellen H. Reed joined Prof. Aoki's laboratory (IRCC-QIB/NIBB/ExCELLS) to conduct a collaborative research project administered by Prof. Aoki and Assistant Prof. Jared Toettcher (Princeton University) on January 24, 2020. On this occasion, Dr. Reed was posted to Prof. Toettcher's laboratory at Princeton University. She focuses on the engineering of protein assembly and its role in cell signaling and cell fate.

In a similar vein, Dr. Ju-Young Kim joined Prof. Iino's laboratory (IRCC-QIB/IMS) to conduct a collaborative research project conducted by Prof. Iino and Prof. Haw Yang (Princeton University) on July 16, 2020. Similar to Dr. Reed, Dr. Kim was posted to Prof. Yang's laboratory at Princeton University to conduct the research project that is single-molecule FRET analysis of processive cellulase dynamics in action.
