Support for exchange between different fields (Site Visit)

NINS has been providing opportunities for researchers in various fields of natural sciences to gather and actively discuss for the further development of natural sciences, and has been developing collaborative research grant programs to promote interdisciplinary cooperation.  To further promote these efforts, we have been conducting "site visits" as a venue for researchers in different research fields to meet and interact smoothly with each other.   Site visits were initially started as an opportunity for researchers affiliated with NINS to visit other NINS institutes to experience other research and methods, and to interact with researchers affiliated with other institutes.  Since FY 2008, the exchange framework has been expanded to the entire Inter-University Research Institute Corporation, and both the number of participants and the scale of participating institutions have been expanded.
